Le Taunya Terrell, Director
Le Taunya has spent the past 10 years dedicated to establishing a nurturing foundation for children to inspire a life-long love of learning. She is passionate about helping children develop to their potential and she is driven by the chance to witness the sense of wonder in children. Le Taunya is a fully qualified teacher and Director with the State of California and continues to model a commitment to fostering the pursuit of knowledge by furthering her education in child development.
In addition to advocating for quality care and education, she wishes to instill a sense that mindfulness and the development of one’s mental, emotional and physical well-being is an important goal for the future success of children. Le Taunya would like to share this philosophy with the “tiny humans” in her care by giving them tools to communicate and further express themselves. Her vision for FSA Folsom also includes a strong team community that supports the growth and development of students, families and faculty members.
Le Taunya is an avid reader and enjoys exploring undiscovered musical artists. She is also an outdoor enthusiast with a connection to nature’s gifts, taking every opportunity to hike, kayak, raft, float, and camp…especially with her beloved Bulloxer dog, Kylo.
Alex Gray, Preschool Administrator
Alex is our amazing Preschool Administrator. She is the smile that greets you in the lobby, takes your phone calls, and keeps things organized. Alex has a BA in Human Development from Sonoma State University and has worked directly with children in various settings for over eight years. Alex grew up in a large family surrounded by friends, family, and lots of children. This nurturing community sparked a passion in Alex to provide quality care to children in a loving environment.
Alex relates, “I have always loved children and I really enjoy seeing how they grow as a person. Being a teacher has been so rewarding. The smallest breakthroughs mean so much to children and it is an amazing experience to watch them grasp new concepts. I constantly learn new things about our FSA children and I absolutely love to visit them in their classrooms throughout the day. It’s my favorite part of my job …and caring for all the wonderful families!”
Alex is an adventurer with an appetite for anthropology and ancient ruins. She loves to travel and explore new places. Alex enjoys crafting and bringing that creativity into the school. She is an avid reader with a big imagination.
